Contiform is a self-administered pessary that is designed to support the urethra and bladder to give relief from stress urinary incontinence. 

Designed by an Australian Gynaecologist, it is clinically proven and highly effective.  Shaped like a hollow tampon, it is inserted and removed in a similar fashion.  It can be worn all day every day (removed and cleaned at night) or can be used just for specific activities that are known to provoke symptoms (running, sport, flu etc).  

The starter pack comes with the 3 sizes of contiform pessary - small, medium and large, together with the silicon ribbon to aid removal and an instructional DVD.  This allows you to trial the different sizes to find the most effective one for you.  Once you have established the correct size, when needed, you can order a replacement pack with just that specific size.

How long does it last? Each pessary will last approximately 45 days of daily use

Cleaning: Contiform pessaries should be removed every 24hours and cleaned in warm water with an unperfumed soap. Do not boil or microwave. Allow to dry fully before storage.
Not suitable for use during pregnancy, if you have a vaginal infection, cystitis or are using an IUD such as a coil

Not suitable for use with a moderate/severe prolapse - if you can't retain a tampon, you are unlikely to retain this pessary

Check with a Medical Professional before use if you:

have had any type of bladder surgery

are leaking constantly

suffer from a previously diagnosed condition of the bladder

If you experience any abnormal vaginal discharge or irritation during use, remove the pessary and contact your Medical Professional

You can continue to use Contiform pessaries during your period but you won't be able to use tampons. You may also notice some slight discoloration of the pessary due to the bleed

Contiform pessaries are made of a material that is very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction

Contiform pessaries can be used from 6 weeks post-natal provided there are no complications at your 6 week check-up
